Eid Al Etihad: A Celebration Of The UAE's Monumental Achievements And Future Progress

H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, expressed that Eid Al Etihad is a day of national pride. It celebrates a nation that has made remarkable achievements, ensuring a promising future with stability, development, and prosperity. This occasion marks the 53rd Eid Al Etihad.

H.H. Sheikh Humaid conveyed his congratulations and best wishes to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai; Their Highnesses the members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates; and the people of the UAE. He prayed for continued stability, progress, and prosperity for the homeland.

The Ruler of Ajman highlighted that Eid Al Etihad is an opportunity to honour the UAE's establishment by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and other founding leaders. Their efforts laid the groundwork for a modern state that provides high standards in health, education, security, and social development for all citizens.

He remarked on how history marks 2nd December as a pivotal day when a pioneering federal model was born. Since then, strategic plans have propelled the nation from desert beginnings to space exploration frontiers. The UAE's progress is attributed to its people's determination and visionary leadership.

H.H. Sheikh Humaid emphasised the unity of UAE citizens under one flag, guided by wise leadership in a modern state prioritising human development. "Our nation spares no effort or resource in ensuring the happiness and well-being of its people while enhancing their quality of life," he said.

Eid Al Etihad is also seen as a profound national occasion where Emiratis reaffirm their commitment to unity. This legacy has been passed down through generations, built by founders and safeguarded by devoted citizens who continue to uphold it.
