UAE Royalty Joins Worshippers For Eid Al-Adha Prayers At Grand Mosque
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, along with H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, performed the Eid Al-Adha prayer at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
Joining them were H.H. Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; H.H. Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO); H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.
Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri delivered the Eid sermon, emphasising Eid as a time to reflect on human values in their noblest forms. He noted that over 1,400 years ago, Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) highlighted human fraternity as a core principle of Islam.
Dr. Khalifa stated that the UAE consistently promotes these principles and values, a commitment evident to its residents. Following the prayer, Sheikh Mansour exchanged greetings with worshippers to mark the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
Sheikh Mansour also visited the tomb of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, praying for his soul to rest in eternal peace.
