EHRDC And E& Collaborate To Advance Emiratisation And Develop National Talent In Dubai

The Emirati Human Resources Development Council (EHRDC) in Dubai and e& have formalised a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at GITEX Global 2025. This collaboration aims to boost Emiratisation and nurture local talent in the telecommunications sector. The agreement highlights both parties' dedication to enhancing public-private cooperation and developing UAE's human capital, aligning with the nation's vision to empower Emirati talent across key industries.

The MoU was signed by Abdulaziz Al Falahi, General Supervisor of Recruitment Operations at the Council, and Mohammad Harib AlFalahi, Chief Corporate Services Officer at e&, with senior representatives such as Group CEO Hatem Dowidar, Masood M. Sharif Mahmood, CEO of e& UAE, and Ali Al Mansoori, Group Chief People Officer at e&, present. The signing ceremony also saw attendance from Abdulla Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director-General of DGHR and Deputy Chairman of EHRDC, along with dignitaries, industry experts, and stakeholders from employment and training sectors.

EHRDC and e& Sign MoU for Emiratisation

The partnership will introduce specialised training programs aimed at enhancing the skills of national talent within e&. These initiatives will leverage the Group’s expertise to facilitate knowledge transfer, empowering Emiratis to excel in future-oriented industries. The focus is on developing capabilities in technical, digital, and knowledge-based sectors, aligning with the UAE Centennial Plan 2071 and Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

Abdulla bin Zayed Al Falasi remarked on the significance of signing this MoU during GITEX GLOBAL. He stated that it represents a forward-looking vision combining institutional innovation and strategic collaboration to advance national capabilities. Hosting the ceremony at GITEX underscores the role such events play in turning national strategies into actionable outcomes.

Ali Al Mansoori expressed that empowering national talent is central to their long-term strategy. He emphasised that this partnership reflects their commitment to supporting Emiratisation by creating high-quality job opportunities and investing in skills development. Their goal is to prepare youth for future challenges by equipping them with expertise in advanced areas like artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

The agreement between EHRDC and e& aims to expand employment opportunities for Emirati nationals in Dubai. It reinforces the private sector’s crucial role in driving sustainable economic growth by focusing on key areas like artificial intelligence, big data, and cybersecurity.

Ali Al Mansoori further stated: "Empowering national talent is central to our long-term strategy, as it forms the foundation of our nation's digital transformation and innovation journey.
