El Alamein In Egypt To Welcome 6th Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup In 2024
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), and with the follow-up of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the EAHS, El Alamein in Egypt will host the 6th Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup (EAHGC) show from 27th-29th June 2024.
This marks the first time the event will be held on the African continent. El Alamein, located on the Mediterranean coast, is renowned for its beautiful sandy beaches and clear waters, making it a prime destination for tourists and residents alike.

Egypt is home to some of the finest breeds of Arabian horses. The El Zahraa Stud is a notable hotspot for pure-bred Arabian breeding and is one of the oldest studs globally. It houses approximately 1,800 private sector farms with around 25,000 horses. The stud also issues birth certificates for Arabian horses and works towards preserving the breed that originated in the Arabian Peninsula.
The Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup was launched last September under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and with follow-up by Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan. The competition consists of 10 championships held across various continents including the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Australia, and both Americas. Valuable cash prizes are awarded to the top five winners in each round.
