Educational Enrichment Center Launched At Grand Mosque To Enhance Pilgrim Experience

The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has launched an educational and enrichment centre at the Saudi Riwaq. This initiative, the first of its kind, aims to improve religious awareness for pilgrims and visitors by offering services in multiple languages. The centre will distribute translated religious books on rituals, interpretation, and supplications to enhance spiritual experiences.

Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs at both mosques, highlighted the significance of choosing the Saudi Riwaq for this inauguration. He described it as a notable Islamic architectural accomplishment that represents Islam's message of moderation and tolerance. This choice underscores the Riwaq's esteemed status within the Islamic community.

New Educational Centre Opens at Grand Mosque

In preparation for the 1446 AH Hajj season, the presidency has improved enrichment pathways in multiple languages at awareness centres within the Grand Mosque. Over 100 educational and enrichment centres will be established during this year's Hajj season. These centres aim to provide comprehensive religious education and guidance to pilgrims from around the world.

Each centre will offer translated copies of the Holy Quran in various global languages. Additionally, they will provide instructional booklets on correct creed, Hajj and Umrah rituals, intellectual security, and Islam's moderation. This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure that pilgrims receive accurate religious guidance during their visit.

Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais expressed gratitude towards the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their ongoing support. He prayed for Allah's blessings upon them for their dedication to caring for the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors. Their backing has been crucial in facilitating these initiatives aimed at enriching pilgrims' spiritual journeys.

The establishment of these centres reflects a commitment to providing comprehensive religious education to visitors from diverse backgrounds. By offering resources in multiple languages, these centres ensure that all pilgrims can access valuable information about Islamic practices and beliefs.

This initiative not only enhances religious understanding but also promotes Islam's core values of peace and tolerance among visitors from different cultures. The efforts made by the Presidency of Religious Affairs demonstrate a dedication to fostering an inclusive environment for all who visit these sacred sites.
