Education Minister Yousef Al-Benyan Emphasises HRH Crown Prince's Commitment To Human Development

The Human Capability Initiative Conference this year is closely aligned with the objectives of the Human Capability Development Program, a key component of Saudi Vision 2030. Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan highlighted this during his opening speech at the conference's second edition. The event coincides with the EDGEx 2025 International Education Exhibition, hosted by the Ministry of Education from April 13 to 16 at Riyadh's Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

Al-Benyan emphasized the significant role of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in supporting human development as part of national transformation efforts. The Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Program's Committee prioritizes human development in Saudi Arabia's growth strategy. This focus underscores the importance placed on nurturing human potential within the framework of Vision 2030.

Crown Prince Prioritises Human Development Initiatives

The conference gathers educational leaders, policymakers, universities, colleges, and tech companies from both local and international spheres. It serves as a platform for collaboration among major stakeholders in education and technology sectors. Al-Benyan stated: "Developing human capabilities, core skills, knowledge, and values empowers individuals to lead productive lives. This is our approach and our goal, as we prepare future generations to go beyond readiness and actively shape the future."

Al-Benyan also stressed that this year's initiative highlights a shared responsibility to prioritize human capability in achieving sustainable economic growth. The minister pointed out that nurturing human potential is central to Saudi Vision 2030. This vision aims to equip individuals with essential skills and values for a productive life.

The conference focuses on three main pillars: harnessing learning methods, honoring belonging ways, and harmonizing actions. These pillars are crucial for fostering an environment where individuals can thrive and contribute meaningfully to society. By addressing these areas, the initiative seeks to create a unified vision for sustainable growth.

In his concluding remarks, Al-Benyan urged participants to transform challenges into opportunities for shaping a prosperous future. He called on attendees to work towards creating lasting solutions that benefit future generations. The minister's call to action emphasizes the importance of collaboration in overcoming obstacles and achieving long-term success.
