EasyLease Expands Into UAE Logistics Sector With Acquisition Of Majority Stake In Gallega Global Logistics

EasyLease, a prominent UAE mobility solutions provider and part of International Holding Company (IHC), has taken a significant step by acquiring 51% of Gallega Global Logistics. This acquisition marks EasyLease's foray into the logistics sector in the UAE. It includes Gallega’s extensive 3.5 million square feet of advanced logistics facilities in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, allowing EasyLease to merge its technology-driven mobility solutions with Gallega’s infrastructure.

The acquisition allows EasyLease to create a comprehensive mobility and logistics ecosystem. Ahmad Al Sadah, CEO of EasyLease, stated: "The regional market dynamics are evolving, and this move enables us to capitalize on the rapidly expanding UAE logistics sector. The acquisition not only enhances our competitive edge but also reaffirms EasyLease’s commitment to innovation and operational efficiency within the mobility sector."

Gallega Global Logistics offers seamless supply chain services across various sectors, including automotive, industrial, FMCG, healthcare, and retail. In 2023 alone, they managed vehicle volumes exceeding 130,000 units across more than 100 countries. This expertise will be instrumental in expanding EasyLease's service offerings and accessing new markets.

The collaboration between EasyLease and Gallega opens doors for technological advancements like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) systems. These technologies aim to boost efficiency while creating scalable and sustainable logistics solutions. Both companies plan to invest in advanced mobility technologies alongside AI innovations.
