Eastern Region Governor Prince Saud Bin Naif Launches 8,100-Unit Lazurde Destination In Al-Khobar

Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Eastern Region, recently inaugurated Lazurde Destination in Al-Khobar. This project is part of the National Housing Company's (NHC) latest urban developments in the region. The event was attended by Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail, Eastern Region Mayor Fahad Aljubair, and NHC CEO Mohammad Albuty.

Prince Saud highlighted that the Kingdom's housing sector is rapidly advancing due to the ambitious goals set by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He stressed Saudi Arabia's dedication to providing suitable housing for all citizens and achieving sustainable urban growth. The Prince commended the leadership's unwavering support in enhancing life quality across the Kingdom.

Lazurde Destination spans over 3.9 million square meters, offering more than 8,100 housing units, including villas and apartments. These accommodations are developed with private-sector partners as part of a comprehensive urban plan featuring various services and facilities. The project includes green spaces exceeding 778,000 square meters alongside educational, health, and recreational amenities.

During the launch event, Prince Saud witnessed several agreements signed between NHC and private-sector partners for residential projects within Lazurde. These partnerships involve Retal Urban Development Company, Dar wa Emaar Development and Investment Company, Thabat Al Maskan Real Estate, and Alomar Investment. Additional agreements were made with Tamkean Real Estate & Investment Co., Rawas real-estate company, and Al Yamama infrastructure company.

NHC’s CEO Mohammad Albuty emphasized that Lazurde reflects a commitment to developing sustainable living environments that enhance life quality. The project's strategic location near the Arabian Gulf beach ensures easy access to major landmarks in Al Khobar. Residents can reach essential services within a five-minute walk due to its thoughtful design.

The architectural designs at Lazurde blend local character with modern elements to meet Saudi families' needs and daily living requirements. This integration aims to create a harmonious living space that respects cultural heritage while embracing contemporary styles.
