Early Intervention AEPS Initiative In Saudi Arabia Strengthens Disability Assessment And Learning Plans

The Disabled Children's Association has entered a new cooperation agreement with the Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND) at the King Fahd Center for Rehabilitation in Riyadh. The partnership introduces the Assessment, Evaluation, and Programming System (AEPS) in Saudi Arabia to support early intervention, strengthen assessment processes, and improve rehabilitation outcomes for children with disabilities across the Kingdom.

Under the agreement, AGFUND provides support to develop specialised educational and rehabilitation applications for children with disabilities. These digital tools are based on a structured scientific approach that measures each child’s abilities, then analyses educational and rehabilitation needs. The results will guide personalised learning plans designed to raise development opportunities and improve each child’s learning path.
