DWTC Hospitality And Emirates Flight Catering Collaborate To Enhance Event Catering Standards Across The UAE

The award-winning catering division of Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), known as DWTC Hospitality, has partnered with Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC). This collaboration aims to reshape the event catering and hospitality industry across the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. By merging their strengths, they plan to set new standards in service excellence and innovation.

Mahir Julfar, Executive Vice President at DWTC, expressed that this partnership is a significant milestone for DWTC Hospitality. He highlighted DWTC's reputation as a preferred venue for prestigious international exhibitions and mega events. Julfar stated, "By combining our deep-rooted expertise in venue management, hospitality services and events delivery with Emirates Flight Catering’s world-class production capabilities, we are redefining what large-scale event catering can achieve across the region."

New Partnership Enhances Event Catering Standards

Shahreyar Nawabi, CEO of Emirates Flight Catering, emphasised the synergy between the two organisations. He said that this collaboration brings together leaders with complementary strengths to deliver exceptional catering solutions. Nawabi noted that this partnership provides access to top-tier culinary expertise supported by operational reliability. This combination aims to elevate event experiences in Dubai and beyond.

The collaboration will kick off immediately, starting with high-profile engagements like the Dubai Airshow. At this prominent event, both entities will serve clients such as Dubai Civil Aviation's Royal Pavilion. The partnership will also extend to other major events like the Dubai International Boat Show and GITEX Global.

Innovative Service Formats Across Venues

Across DWTC venues like the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) and Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), innovative service formats will be introduced. These include food trucks and semi-permanent outlets designed to offer flexibility and speed. Pilot programmes will also feature retail-ready offerings that reflect a commitment to quality and cultural relevance.

Julfar added that DWTC is dedicated to enhancing its global position through partnerships that boost event experiences while supporting Dubai's economic and tourism goals. The collaboration aims to deliver seamless hospitality experiences for millions of guests while setting new benchmarks for quality.

This strategic alliance positions both EKFC and DWTC at the forefront of an evolving industry ecosystem. It supports the UAE's growth as a global destination by establishing new standards for exceptional catering and hospitality services.
