DUPHAT 2025 Concludes Successfully With AED 9.35 Billion In Trade Deals And Global Participation

The Dubai International Pharmaceuticals and Technologies Conference and Exhibition, known as DUPHAT 2025, wrapped up with AED9.35 billion in trade deals over three days. This event underscored the UAE's significant role in the global pharmaceutical and technology markets. It aligns with the National Drug Policy's goals, aiming for a 10-15% market growth within five years.

Held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, DUPHAT 2025 attracted over 31,000 visitors from 101 countries and featured participation from 1,400 global companies. The exhibition highlighted innovations in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and dietary supplements. The focus was on advanced solutions to improve healthcare safety and quality.

DUPHAT 2025 Achieves AED 9.35 Billion in Deals

The conference included 155 expert speakers who delivered 130 scientific sessions and hosted nine professional workshops. University students presented 400 scientific posters showcasing medical research advancements. Attendees earned a total of 83.5 Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours accredited by various entities.

A key highlight was "VitaShow Dubai," featuring over 275 global brands showcasing advancements in dietary supplements and vitamins. This addition reflects the growing demand for products supporting health and wellness. The dietary supplement market is expanding rapidly due to increasing consumer interest.

Amb. Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani commented on the event’s significance: "Through DUPHAT Conference and Exhibition, we aim to support the pharmaceutical sector not only scientifically but also economically, fostering innovation through research, workshops, and university participation. Our goal is to strengthen partnerships among decision-makers and industry stakeholders."

Countries like Poland, China, and Turkey participated actively, displaying a range of innovations that fostered commercial and cultural collaboration globally. Innovative solutions included new pharmacy-based vaccination programs inspired by international best practices to enhance healthcare accessibility.

GSK was one of the leading exhibitors at DUPHAT 2025. Boyd Chongphaisal from GSK Gulf stated: "At GSK, being part of DUPHAT is a key opportunity to collaborate with healthcare leaders and pharmacists who are passionate about driving innovation in the field."

iNova Pharmaceuticals introduced an expanded product lineup targeting winter ailments like sore throats and colds. Their Betadine Cold Defense formula aims to combat viral colds effectively, helping patients recover faster.

DUPHAT is organised by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Org. LLC with support from the Dubai Health Authority. Accredited by international organisations such as the American Pharmacists Association, it remains crucial for innovation in pharmaceuticals.

The event reinforced UAE's leadership in pharmaceutical innovation globally through strong international participation and collaboration among industry stakeholders.
