Dubai Youth Forum Emphasises The Vital Role Of Youth In Shaping Dubai's Future

The Dubai Youth Forum, hosted by the Dubai Youth Council at the Mohammed bin Rashid Library, gathered officials, industry experts, and young talents. This event underscored the crucial role of youth in shaping Dubai's strategic vision. It aimed to strengthen Dubai’s global leadership in youth-driven innovation and sustainable development.

Omar Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; Abdulla Mohammed Al Basti, Secretary-General of The Executive Council of Dubai; Khaled Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Authority; Ayesha Miran, Director-General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority; Hala Badri, Director-General of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority; Mohammed Rashid Lootah, Director-General of Dubai Chambers; Fahad Al Hassawi, CEO of du; along with several officials from government and private entities attended the forum.

Youth Empowerment at Dubai Youth Forum

The forum showcased various initiatives aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs and enhancing their societal contributions. These initiatives are rooted in Dubai's core values and community principles. Strategic partners from both government and private sectors announced 10 youth-centric initiatives to develop skills across different fields.

The ‘Future Readiness Youth Program’ by Dubai Civil Defense trains 1,000 youth annually in safety and innovation. 'Your Digital Accelerator' by Dubai Digital Authority equips young entrepreneurs with essential technical skills for success in technology. 'Generation of Entrepreneurs' by Dubai Chambers offers mentorship and training to empower Emirati youth.

Abdulla Mohammed Al Basti highlighted the significance of youth in shaping the nation's future. He stated that empowering them is vital for fostering social cohesion and achieving ambitious goals. "Youth are pioneers of the future, driving innovation and development," he said. The forum's efforts were praised for enhancing youth participation.

Khaled Al Nuaimi emphasised UAE leadership's commitment to providing an ideal environment for youth empowerment. "The leadership’s vision ensures robust support for youth through strategic initiatives," he noted. The forum aligns with the Year of Community initiative, highlighting shared responsibility in building a sustainable nation.

Values Charter Launch

A notable highlight was launching the ‘Dubai Youth Values Charter’, titled ‘My Values, My Future’. This charter outlines values empowering youth to drive sustainable development while preserving cultural identity. It includes five core values: "Dubai’s Youth ... The Descendants of Zayed", "The Family ... The Foundation of a Nation", "Youth as the Pillar of a Strong Society", "Youth as Renaissance Leaders", and "Youth as Exemplary Economic Drivers".

The event concluded with inspiring success stories from Emirati youth and recognition for 10 outstanding young individuals contributing socially. Strategic partners were honoured for their dedication to empowering youth. Attendees lauded the forum as a valuable platform for exchanging ideas with public and private entities.
