WETEX 2024 Reinforces Dubai's Stature As Premier Global Exhibition Centre
The Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) is organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). It has become a global platform for regional and international exhibitions. The event seeks new exhibitors and partners to expand their customer base both regionally and globally.
Held under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, WETEX is one of the most prominent specialised international exhibitions. It focuses on water, energy, sustainability, green technologies, renewable energy, green buildings, electric vehicles, smart grids, and other vital sectors.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, Founder and Chairman of WETEX, stated that WETEX has always played an essential role in supporting the UAE's comprehensive development. He said it supports the exhibition and conference industry in the UAE and Dubai. "WETEX consolidates the UAE's position as an international capital for specialised events," he added.
The growing impact of WETEX is evident in its ability to attract numerous exhibitions, forums, conferences, and companies specialising in exhibition services. Thousands of local and international companies from both government and private sectors participate to showcase their latest technologies and innovative solutions.
David Wang, MIE Chairman, announced that MIE Group will have the largest international pavilion from China at WETEX 2024. Over 200 Chinese exhibitors will participate in WETEX 2024, occupying a substantial 2000 sqm area. "This marks the largest international pavilion from China at the event," he said.
Charles Maeng from IPR Forum mentioned that Korean companies specialising in energy, environment, and projects are expected to actively participate in the next WETEX.
