UAE Weather Forecast: Partly Cloudy With Showers And Temperature Drops Expected
The UAE's weather today will witness a mix of partly cloudy and cloudy conditions, especially around the northern, coastal, and eastern regions, with a possibility of some showers. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has indicated that temperatures are set to drop across the country. Coastal and island locales are forecasted to experience highs ranging from 26 to 30 degrees Celsius and lows of 15 to 20 degrees Celsius.
A decrease in temperature has been forecasted for the day, bringing cooler weather across the area. Winds are expected to be light to moderate in general but could intensify at times, reaching velocities of up to 45 km/hr in coastal and island regions. This could lead to the occurrence of blowing dust in certain exposed locations.

The NCM has further projected that these weather conditions are likely to persist until February 25, suggesting a continuity of the current climatic pattern into tomorrow. With the weather taking a cooler turn and the wind picking up speed, residents should prepare for fluctuating conditions over the next couple of days.
The NCM has raised a yellow alert, signaling caution for those venturing outdoors, particularly due to rough sea conditions forecasted for the Arabian Gulf. Waves could surge up to 7ft in height, propelled by fresh winds that may reach speeds of up to 40kmph. This warning is in place from 6 am on Monday and is expected to last until 6 am the following day, Tuesday, February 25.
In addition to the rough seas, the weather forecast indicates a shift in wind patterns. Initially, light to moderate southeasterly winds are anticipated, which will then turn northwesterly, becoming notably fresher over the sea. These winds will vary in speed from 10kmph to 25kmph, potentially escalating to 40kmph.
The temperature is also expected to vary, with Abu Dhabi experiencing a high of 33 degrees Celsius and a low of 19 degrees Celsius. Dubai will see similar temperatures, with the mercury potentially rising to 33 degrees Celsius during the day and falling to 20 degrees Celsius at night.
Regarding sea conditions beyond the immediate rough patches, the Arabian Gulf will generally experience slight to moderate waves, which are predicted to intensify and become rough by night.
Conversely, the Oman Sea is expected to remain relatively calm. This varied weather pattern underscores the need for vigilance among residents and visitors alike, especially those planning maritime activities or spending extensive time outdoors.
