Dubai To Host ArabPlast 2025: A Major Event For Plastics And Recycling Industries
The 17th ArabPlast international trade fair will take place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7th to 9th January 2025. This event, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hasher Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated, will feature over 750 exhibitors from 35 countries. More than 12 national pavilions will be present, showcasing innovations in plastics, recycling, petrochemicals, packaging, and rubber industries.
Nadhal Mohamed Kadar, Exhibition Director of ArabPlast, emphasised the Middle East's significant role in the global plastics and petrochemicals sectors. He stated that the region's abundant natural resources make it a crucial player, with Dubai acting as a gateway to these markets. Hosting ArabPlast in Dubai underscores its leadership in manufacturing and innovation.

Kadar highlighted that the petrochemical industry is vital to the GCC's economy. The sector contributes significantly to GDP, with combined revenues surpassing US$100 billion. This economic impact underscores the importance of events like ArabPlast in showcasing advancements and fostering growth within these industries.
Sadiq Al Lawati, Polymer Marketing Managing Director at OQ from Oman and Principal Sponsor of ArabPlast 2025, noted that the event has consistently presented cutting-edge solutions since 2019.
