Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced its 75th online auction for unique number plates, catering to enthusiasts of private, vintage vehicles, and motorbikes. This auction, featuring a selection of 350 distinctive number plates with codes ranging from A to X, opens a window of opportunity for collectors and individuals seeking to acquire special number plates. Registration for prospective bidders commenced on April 15, marking the start of an eagerly awaited event. The auction is set to begin at 08:00 am on Monday, April 22, offering a five-day period for participants to place their bids.

Interested parties are invited to register for the auction, with the RTA outlining specific requirements for participation. A mandatory step for all bidders is the establishment of a Traffic File in Dubai, essential for the bidding process. Additionally, participants are required to submit a security cheque of Dh5,000, payable to RTA. This is coupled with an unrefundable participation fee of Dh120, ensuring the seriousness and commitment of all bidders.
