Dubai Press Club Unveils Second Phase Of Content Creators Programme Focused On Health And Science
The Dubai Press Club (DPC) and Dubai Health have initiated the second phase of the ‘Dubai Content Creators Programme’. This phase emphasises health and science content, aiming to provide participants with specialised training. The goal is to equip them with the skills needed to create reliable, engaging health content that benefits the community.
Participants will receive practical guidance on presenting health information clearly and accurately. The training will focus on simplifying complex topics, responsible communication, and creative storytelling techniques. These skills are essential for engaging audiences across various platforms effectively.

Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, highlighted the importance of this initiative. "Dubai continues to invest in nurturing creative talent and placing media at the heart of its development strategies," Al Marri stated. She emphasised that this programme strengthens digital storytelling and reinforces content creators' social responsibility in shaping an informed society.
The programme aims to enhance participants' roles in health education and awareness. It offers a valuable opportunity to explore emerging tools and techniques, particularly AI, for creating innovative content in health and science. This initiative aligns with Dubai's commitment to advancing professional media culture.
Dr. Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health, expressed pride in welcoming the first group of participants. "We are proud to welcome the first group of participants to this pioneering programme," he said. He noted that this collaboration between health and media sectors equips creators with skills to simplify complex medical information credibly.
The programme is delivered with global media platforms like TikTok and YouTube, alongside regional institutions such as Dubai Media Academy. These collaborations ensure participants gain insights from leading experts in media innovation and healthcare communication.
Interactive Workshops
Running until 4 November 2025, the programme includes interactive workshops covering impactful writing, storytelling techniques, visual content development, platform dynamics, digital health campaigns, and AI-powered tools. Participants will learn modern production techniques like smartphone shooting and short-form video production for Instagram Reels.
This phase builds on the success of the inaugural programme launched with the UAE Ministry of Economy. The previous phase focused on economic reporting and storytelling training for content creators.
