Dubai Press Club And UAE Ministry Of Economy Launch Economic Content Creators Programme For Emerging Talent

The Dubai Press Club (DPC) has introduced the Dubai Content Creators Programme, focusing on developing skills for creating impactful digital content. This initiative began with the Economic Content Creators Programme, in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Economy, running from 16 December 2024 to 8 January 2025. The programme aims to enhance economic literacy among emerging media talent through training led by experts and financial media organisations.

His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy, opened the programme. He stressed the importance of such initiatives in equipping participants with skills to produce specialised content. He noted the increasing demand for impactful content that adapts to rapid changes, especially in economics. Content creators need a solid grasp of tools and techniques to deliver accurate and objective messages.

Economic Content Creators Programme Launched in Dubai

Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri highlighted the UAE's commitment to supporting media sector development under its leadership. "The UAE has established specialised zones with world-class infrastructure, advanced technologies, and flexible regulations, positioning it as a regional hub for leading global media organisations," he said. The minister emphasised providing accurate economic data as crucial for professional content that enhances community literacy.

The Economic Content Creators Programme focuses on accuracy and reliability as key elements for high-quality content creation. Success depends on precise data, objective analysis, and credible sources to maintain audience trust. The programme encourages creativity in simplifying complex topics, helping creators deliver clear information appealing to a broad audience.

Mona Al Marri, President of Dubai Press Club, expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Economy for its support. She praised Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri's efforts in enriching the programme. "Content creation focused on economic topics is vital for improving financial literacy within communities," she stated. Such content fosters understanding of issues impacting daily life and macroeconomic policies shaping nations' futures.

The programme also highlights modern technology's role, including artificial intelligence, in creating dynamic content. It underscores mastering data management for specialised content creation. Maryam Al Mulla, Acting Director of Dubai Press Club, remarked on launching the programme with an economic focus reflecting Dubai’s global economic status. This aligns with Dubai’s vision to be among the top three urban economies by 2033. The initiative underscores media's vital role in advancing Dubai’s development journey and achieving ambitious goals.

Mahfoudha Abdullah from DPC mentioned that the programme includes comprehensive lectures and workshops covering key topics like successful economies' fundamentals and AI's impact on visual content enhancement. It balances trending topics with objective analysis in specialised economic content creation.
