Dubai Police Launches Engaging Summer Programme For Students In 16 Training Centres
The Dubai Police have kicked off their 2025 summer programme for students, themed "Our Summer is Safety, Happiness, Innovation, and Leadership." This initiative welcomes 1,332 students aged 11 to 18 from 35 countries. Organised by the General Department of Anti-Narcotics' International Hemaya Centre, it partners with the Ministry of Education, KHDA, and various police departments.
Major General Eid Mohammad bin Thani Harib emphasised Dubai Police's dedication to organising student activities at the academic year's end. The aim is to utilise students' time effectively while fostering national identity and respect for laws. He stressed the importance of instilling loyalty and awareness of significant issues among youth.

He further noted that shaping a student's character requires collaboration among institutions based on scientific principles. This approach aims to nurture future leaders in both government and private sectors. He expressed gratitude to the 40 strategic partners, including government entities and police stations, for their support in sustaining these programmes.
Brigadier Abdul Rahman Sharf Al Maamari announced that this year's courses will be available at 16 training centres. The summer activities are divided into five categories: Training Programmes, Specialised Programmes, "Your Awareness is Protection," lectures from strategic partners, and Field Visits.
The training programmes encompass Field Training, Military Training, Sports Training, Future Officer initiatives, and Sports Competitions. Specialised programmes include courses like Little Rescuer (Swimming), Diving Course, Promising Investigator Course, Martial Arts Course, Little Assistant 901 Course, Bicycle Patrol Course, and SWAT Course.
Educational Lectures and Field Visits
The "Your Awareness is Protection" lectures address crucial topics such as drug dangers, electronic smoking risks, e-crime awareness, electronic gaming issues, bullying prevention, and traffic safety. These lectures aim to educate students on potential hazards they might face.
Field visits are also part of the programme. Students will explore places like the Dubai Police Museum and the Dubai Police 901 Call Center. Other visits include the Care and Attention Program for Police Dogs, Shooting Range facilities, Forensic Evidence labs, and Horse Care units.
This comprehensive programme not only engages students in meaningful activities but also prepares them to handle challenges responsibly. By participating in these diverse offerings, students gain valuable skills and insights that contribute to their personal development.
