Dubai Police Announces Inaugural International K9 Show For Dog Training And Law Enforcement

Dubai Police are set to host the International K9 Show from 18 to 20 April, in collaboration with Purina Pro Plan. This event will focus on dog training, care, and law enforcement. Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi stated that this inaugural event aims to enhance international cooperation in policing and security by showcasing police dog units' expertise in training and deployment for security and rescue operations.

The show will feature over 30 exhibitors from around the world, including specialists in dog breeding, training, and care. It will also bring together key entities from both government and private sectors, as well as training centres, dog clubs, wellness hubs, and related organisations. The aim is to highlight the importance of dog training in security, healthcare, and daily life.

Lieutenant Colonel Salah Al Mazrouei emphasised the vital role police dogs play in maintaining safety and security. He noted that K9s are essential partners in complex missions at local, regional, and international levels. The event offers a chance to improve K9 unit performance while connecting with global specialists to explore new technologies and learn from experts.

In addition to its security focus, the show will include community-oriented activities. Dog lovers can enjoy educational workshops and interactive sessions.
