Dubai Police Enhances Luxury Patrols With Audi RS Q8 And New Beach Bike

Dubai Police and Al Nabooda Automobiles have unveiled the latest addition to the Dubai Police fleet of luxury patrols, the 'Audi RS Q8', during the second day of the Arabian Travel Market 2024. The unveiling of the Audi RS Q8 was attended by high-ranking officials from Dubai Police, including Brigadier Musabah Saeed Al Ghafli and Brigadier Dr. Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi. The new patrol vehicle aims to enhance operational efficiency and increase the presence of Dubai Police in tourist areas and landmarks.

Brigadier Dr. Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi emphasized Dubai Police's commitment to incorporating advanced and luxurious security patrols into its fleet. The initiative aims to strengthen the security presence of police officers in crucial tourist destinations such as Burj Khalifa, Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, JBR, and other popular tourist areas. Dubai Police aims to upgrade its patrol vehicles, including electric or hybrid models, in line with global efforts to enhance police operations and provide an enriched experience for tourists.

Dubai Police Upgrades Patrol Fleet

Juma Al Nabooda, Associate Director and Board Member of Khalifa Juma Al Nabooda Group of Companies, expressed his honor in strengthening the partnership with Dubai Police. He highlighted the mutual vision to continuously enhance safety and security in the city and looks forward to driving more initiatives for the well-being of the community.

Rajaram, CEO of Al Nabooda Automobiles, emphasized the commitment to innovation and progress by extending the partnership with Dubai Police through the addition of the Audi RS Q8 to their fleet of luxury patrols. This partnership showcases cutting-edge performance and ultimate luxury, reflecting Audi Sport's 40 years of excellence.

Brigadier Khalfan Al Jallaf, Director of the Tourist Police Department, praised the addition of the Audi RS Q8 to Dubai Police's fleet of luxury patrols. He highlighted the role of this patrol vehicle in enhancing the tourist experience by offering luxurious security patrols. The patrols provide assistance during events and community initiatives, address tourists' inquiries, offer information, and ensure their overall sense of security throughout their stay in Dubai.

The Audi RS Q8 boasts a powerful 4.0-liter V8 TFSI engine with 600 horsepower and a maximum torque of 800 Nm. It features a permanent quattro drive, an 8-speed tiptronic transmission, a 48V mild hybrid system, and cylinder-on-demand technology. The legendary quattro drive ensures agile responses and high driving stability, supported by adaptive air suspension sport with RS-characteristic tuning and all-wheel steering.

In addition to the Audi RS Q8, Dubai Police also unveiled the 'Defender' beach bike. The beach bike, developed in collaboration with 'MTM Marine', aims to enrich the tourism experience for tourists and visitors in the emirate.

Brigadier Dr. Al Qamzi highlighted that the beach bike's unveiling is part of the Tourist Police Department's efforts to enhance tourists' sense of security and safety in beach environments. The beach bike is equipped with an 82-horsepower engine, allowing it to navigate sandy terrain and narrow areas. It can reach speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour and is equipped with a first aid box. The bike can accommodate two extra passengers alongside the driver, making it convenient for transporting tourists and their belongings when necessary.

The unveiling of the Audi RS Q8 and the 'Defender' beach bike highlights Dubai Police's commitment to providing advanced and luxurious security patrols to enhance the tourists' experience and ensure their safety and security during their stay in Dubai.
