Dubai Police Hosts Eid Al Adha Celebration For 6,000 Workers

Dubai Police marked Eid Al-Adha with a grand celebration in Jebel Ali’s Nuzul Labour Accommodation, engaging 6,000 workers under the banner "Celebrating Eid Together." This festivity was a part of a concerted effort by various entities including the Positive Spirit Council, Jebel Ali Police Station, the Council of Police Station Directors, and the Event Security Committee in Dubai. They organized a blend of activities ranging from sports like cricket and tug of war to educational lectures covering essential topics such as workers' rights and traffic safety.

During the celebrations, the attendees were treated to a unique showcase of luxury police patrols and entertained by performances from the police band. These elements added a touch of splendor and excitement to the festivities, making the event memorable for the workers. The inclusion of such varied programs was part of a broader initiative to foster a sense of community and belonging among the workers, showcasing Dubai Police's commitment to ensuring the well-being and happiness of all societal segments.

Brig. Muhammad Abdullah Al Marri, Deputy Director of Jebel Ali Police Station, underscored the importance of these activities in bolstering Dubai Police's community outreach efforts. He noted that the inclusion of sports, cultural competitions, and informative lectures was designed to facilitate a deeper understanding of Dubai Police's services. Al Marri pointed out that these initiatives were aimed at making it easier for people to access various services through the police's smart app and Smart Police Stations (SPS), thus enhancing the efficiency of communication between the public and law enforcement.

Fatima Buhujair, leader of the Positive Spirit Council, further elaborated on the significant impact of such initiatives. She emphasized that these efforts align with Dubai Police's strategic objectives of improving security and fostering a stronger connection with the community. Buhujair praised Dubai Police's role in promoting values such as tolerance, dialogue, and respect for others, expressing her appreciation for the collective effort that contributed to the success of the Eid Al-Adha celebrations.

Brig. Al Marri concluded the event by extending his gratitude and recognition to those who excelled in the competitions, as well as to the volunteers and contributors who played a pivotal role in the successful execution of the celebrations. His acknowledgment of the individuals involved underscored the collaborative spirit that characterized the entire initiative, highlighting the collective achievements and the positive impact of the celebrations on the community.
