Dubai Police Donates AED 1 Million To Support Fathers' Endowment Campaign For Healthcare
The Dubai Police have pledged AED1 million to the Fathers' Endowment campaign. This initiative, launched by His His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, aims to honour fathers in the UAE. It seeks to create a sustainable fund for providing healthcare and treatment to the needy. The campaign is part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI).
The campaign reflects Sheikh Mohammed's vision of promoting sustainable humanitarian work. It focuses on community involvement and innovative programmes to help underprivileged communities. The goal is to empower these communities, ensuring they can live with dignity and access basic needs, particularly sustainable healthcare.

Since its inception, the campaign has seen widespread participation from various sectors. Government entities, private businesses, and individuals have shown exceptional solidarity. This highlights the role of Ramadan campaigns as a significant global humanitarian movement, reinforcing the UAE's leading philanthropic position worldwide.
Lieutenant-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, stated that this campaign builds on past Ramadan initiatives' successes. It strengthens social cohesion by honouring parents and fosters a culture of giving deeply rooted in UAE society.
Al Marri expressed pride in the leadership's vision that unites efforts to spread goodness. "We are proud of our leadership's exceptional vision, which unites efforts to spread goodness and improve the lives of the less fortunate through empowerment and sustainable humanitarian initiatives," he said. He emphasised that this national drive cements the UAE's status as a global humanitarian leader.
The Fathers' Endowment campaign continues to accept donations from institutions and individuals through six main channels. These include the campaign's website (Fathersfund.ae) and a toll-free call centre at 800 4999.
Donations can also be made via bank transfers in UAE dirham to Emirates Islamic Bank (IBAN: AE020340003518492868201). SMS donations are possible by sending "Father" to specific numbers for different amounts: 1034 for AED10, 1035 for AED50, 1036 for AED100, and 1038 for AED500 for Etisalat by e& and du users.
Additional platforms for contributing include the DubaiNow app under the "Donations" tab and Dubai's community contributions platform Jood (Jood.ae). These options provide convenient ways for people to support this meaningful cause.
