Dubai Police Commander-in-Chief Hosts Global Security Leaders And Signs Agreement With Italian Carabinieri

During the World Police Summit 2025, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, engaged with several international dignitaries and security leaders. The event served as a platform for discussing enhanced cooperation and partnerships in global law enforcement.

The summit welcomed notable figures such as Gilles Michaud, UN Under-Secretary-General for Safety and Security; Ivan Kubrakov, Minister of Interior of Belarus; Panche Toshkovski, Minister of Interior of North Macedonia; Matúš Šutaj Eštok, Minister of Interior of Slovakia; Marek Boro, Chief of the Polish Police; and General Salvatore Luongo, Commander of the Italian Carabinieri. These meetings focused on exchanging expertise and addressing pressing global law enforcement issues.

Lt. Gen. Al Marri highlighted Dubai Police’s dedication to sharing its advanced policing experience with international counterparts. The MoU was signed by Lt. Gen. Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri and Gen. Salvatore Luongo. It outlines plans for joint efforts in crime prevention, countering transnational threats, sharing training modules, participating in specialised conferences and exhibitions, and organising urgent meetings and capacity-building sessions.

This agreement also facilitates the formation of joint working groups tasked with implementing these initiatives through defined timelines and action plans. Additionally, it supports intelligence exchange that aids both parties in fulfilling their law enforcement missions effectively.
