Dubai PodFest 2025 To Celebrate International Podcast Day With Leading Arab Podcasters

The Dubai Press Club (DPC) will host the fifth Dubai PodFest on 30th September 2025. This event, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aligns with International Podcast Day. It aims to unite Arab podcasters, media firms, and audio content platforms to discuss trends and strategies in podcasting.

Participants will delve into global trends and share best practices to boost Arabic content's visibility and competitiveness. The event also seeks to empower emerging talents and strengthen partnerships between media institutions and creative industries. Challenges faced by podcast creators will be addressed, transforming them into growth opportunities.

Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, stated that the event reflects H.H. Sheikh Ahmed’s vision for Dubai as a hub for Arab media. "The fifth edition of Dubai PodFest, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, reflects his vision to position Dubai as a hub for Arab media, a catalyst for creative content development, and a global destination for new media talent."

She further explained that H.H. Sheikh Ahmed’s directives aim to make Dubai the capital of Arab media by staying ahead of global trends. This involves shaping the digital media landscape and empowering Arab talent to create impactful content that competes globally.
