Dubai Municipality Introduces Talent 71 Programme To Develop Emirati Graduates' Skills

Dubai Municipality has introduced the Talent 71 programme at the 2024 Ru’ya UAE Careers event. This initiative aims to boost national skills by engaging fresh Emirati graduates. The programme equips participants with advanced knowledge and skills, preparing them for Dubai Municipality's dynamic work environment. It follows a strategic approach, with training designed by experts to nurture leadership in young talents, supporting national growth.

The Talent 71 programme includes five main training streams: engineering, public utilities, digital and artificial intelligence, health and safety, and waste management and sanitation. These streams are tailored to meet rapid developments in each field within Dubai Municipality. The aim is to improve efficiencies and enhance positive outcomes for both Dubai society and the environment.

Wesam Lootah, CEO of Corporate Support Services Sector at Dubai Municipality, emphasised the importance of attracting and developing Emirati talent as a core strategy. He stated that the programme reflects the Municipality's dedication to empowering Emirati youth with essential skills and knowledge for future challenges. "The ‘Talent 71’ programme reflects the Municipality's commitment to developing national capabilities and empowering Emirati youth to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to address the challenges and requirements of the future."
