Dubai Municipality Achieves Recognition As Best Government Entity In Youth Empowerment At 2025 GCC GOV HR Awards
Dubai Municipality has been honoured as the Best Government Entity in Youth Empowerment at the 2025 GCC GOV HR Awards. This award is a testament to its dedication to governance excellence, human capital development, and youth innovation. The recognition highlights Dubai Municipality's strategic focus on nurturing future municipal leaders, aligning with Dubai's urban vision and national goals.
The Dubai Municipality Youth Council has played a pivotal role in this achievement. Over 1,200 young employees have gained essential skills through more than 48 specialised programmes. These initiatives cover leadership, innovation, sustainability, and personal growth, preparing them for future challenges.

Institutional performance data supports these efforts' impact. Dubai Municipality scored 4.95 out of 5 in its latest youth engagement evaluation. There was also a 164% increase in youth participation and a 210% rise in youth-focused initiatives. Leadership opportunities saw a 15-fold increase.
All youth-led proposals and initiatives have been implemented, showcasing Dubai Municipality's dedication to meaningful inclusion and action. This commitment positions it as a regional benchmark for institutional youth empowerment.
