Dubai Metro Red Line Bypasses Four Stations: What Commuters Need To Know
In an important announcement for commuters in Dubai, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has issued a service update regarding the Dubai Metro Red Line. The RTA has confirmed that while the metro service continues to operate across the Red Line, trains will temporarily bypass four stations: ONPASSIVE, Equiti, Mashreq, and Energy. This adjustment in service affects the convenience of numerous passengers who utilise these stations for their daily commutes.
To mitigate the impact of this service alteration, the RTA has implemented a shuttle bus service. This initiative is designed to ferry passengers to and from the stations that are currently not being serviced by the metro. Commuters are encouraged to make use of these shuttle buses to reach their destinations without significant delays.
Passengers navigating through the affected stations are advised to adhere to directions provided on-site and cooperate fully with metro and bus staff. The staff are on hand to assist passengers and ensure that the temporary disruption causes minimal inconvenience to their travel plans.
The RTA has expressed its apologies for any inconvenience caused by these temporary service changes. They also extended their gratitude towards the public for their understanding and cooperation during this period. The authority has not provided a specific timeline for when normal service will resume at the ONPASSIVE, Equiti, Mashreq, and Energy stations. However, updates are expected to be communicated to the public as the situation evolves.
