Dubai Celebrates Union Of 148 Couples In Mass Wedding To Foster Social Cohesion

H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, graced the wedding celebrations of 148 grooms in Dubai, a collaborative effort between the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) and Dubai Customs. This event, marking the tenth collaboration of its kind, underscores a shared commitment to fostering social cohesion and empowering Emirati families, aligning with Dubai's Social Agenda 33.

The initiative aims to bolster young Emiratis' confidence and pride in their identity while preparing them for future challenges. Sheikh Ahmed extended his congratulations to the newly-weds, emphasizing the importance of social development alongside economic progress. Dubai's Mass Wedding Strengthens Families

The mass wedding, held at Sheikh Maktoum Hall in Dubai World Trade Centre, not only celebrates union but also represents a sustained campaign by GDRFA and Dubai Customs to involve employees in significant social occasions.
