Dubai Live Platform Launched By Dubai Municipality For Real-Time City Operations Management
Dubai Municipality has introduced Dubai Live, a new digital platform aimed at managing city operations and urban systems in real-time. This platform was revealed during GITEX Global 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. It marks a major advancement in urban management by integrating technologies like artificial intelligence and predictive analytics.
Dubai Live consolidates crucial data on infrastructure, construction activities, and planning updates through the Urban Planning Observatory. The Observatory provides detailed analytics on buildings, facilities, infrastructure, and population densities. This enables forecasting of future needs to support urban growth effectively.

The platform also enhances connectivity with various transport systems, including land, air, and maritime. This ensures a comprehensive view of Dubai’s operations across the city. Eng. Mariam Al Muhairi, CEO of the Building Regulation and Permits Agency at Dubai Municipality, stated: "Dubai Live is one of our most important digital projects, designed to centralise information and operations across the city and provide instant access to comprehensive data."
Eng. Mariam Al Muhairi further explained that Dubai Live is more than just a monitoring tool; it supports strategic decision-making by offering an interactive platform for sustainable urban management. Built on innovation and AI, it reflects Dubai Municipality’s commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and governance practices.
Through real-time data integration, the platform will improve citywide planning and resource management while enabling quick emergency responses. It will also advance inspection systems, contributing to Dubai’s vision of complete digital transformation and sustainable development.
Ultimately, Dubai Live aims to enrich the experience for residents and visitors alike. It supports the emirate's goal to remain a top global city for living, working, and investing.
