Dubai Transforms Into A Vibrant Spectacle For Ramadan With #RamadanInDubai Campaign
Dubai is aglow with vibrant lights and artistic displays for Ramadan, transforming the city into a visual spectacle. Lanterns, intricate designs, and grand installations illuminate streets and landmarks, creating an atmosphere that embodies unity, generosity, and cultural heritage. The festive displays are part of the #RamadanInDubai campaign, initiated under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The #RamadanInDubai campaign is a collaborative effort led by Brand Dubai in partnership with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). This initiative aims to enhance public spaces with stunning decorations that capture the spirit of Ramadan. The project is part of ‘Anwaar Dubai’, which focuses on beautifying prominent streets and landmarks during this holy month.

Shaima Al Suwaidi from Brand Dubai expressed gratitude towards partners who helped decorate key streets and landmarks. "Dubai’s streets and landmarks are an integral part of its identity, and during Ramadan, we wanted to enhance their beauty in a way that reflects the spirit of the Holy Month," she said. The initiative aims to create a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.
Various entities have joined forces to bring this vision to life. Partners include Dubai Municipality, Wasl Group, Dubai Holding, Emaar, Majid Al Futtaim, and Al-Futtaim Group. Each has contributed to decorating different areas across the city, ensuring a unified celebration of Ramadan's essence through creative displays.
Emaar Properties' Ahmad Al Matrooshi highlighted their role in enhancing Dubai's joyful atmosphere during Ramadan. "Our collaboration with Brand Dubai on the #RamadanInDubai campaign enhances the city's joyful atmosphere," he noted. These efforts aim to reflect unity and shared traditions during this sacred time.
Enhancing Urban Landscapes
Abdulla Yousef Al Ali from RTA emphasised their commitment to supporting community initiatives that highlight Dubai’s urban beauty. "RTA is proud to support the #RamadanInDubai campaign," he stated. The RTA has adorned several key streets with festive lights, adding to the celebratory spirit.
Sayed Ismail Al Hashemi from Dubai Municipality mentioned their contribution by illuminating Deira's historic Clock Roundabout with artistic lighting displays. These decorations align with their ongoing commitment to enhancing public spaces' beauty throughout Ramadan.

Wasl Group’s Hesham Abdullah Al Qassim shared how they transformed communities like Wasl1 and Jumeirah Golf Estate into showcases of Ramadan’s spirit. "Wasl Group is committed to supporting Dubai’s initiatives," he said. Their efforts highlight cultural moments that embody Ramadan's values.
Huda Buhumaid from Dubai Holding expressed pride in showcasing traditions across key destinations like Global Village and Jumeirah Walk. Their aim is to enrich cultural vibrancy while fostering togetherness during this special time.

Suhaila Ghubash from DFRE spoke about ‘Ramadan Reflections’, featuring captivating light projections at DIFC and other locations. This initiative ensures residents can fully immerse themselves in Ramadan's warmth through visual storytelling across the city.
Majid Al Futtaim Shopping Malls’ Fuad Mansoor Sharaf highlighted their festive decorations at Mall of the Emirates and City Centre Mirdif. "We remain committed to offering unique experiences," he stated, aiming to bring communities closer through shared celebrations.

Al-Futtaim Real Estate’s Hayssam Hajjar noted how festive lighting at Dubai Festival City Mall enhances visitor experiences during Ramadan. Their commitment lies in providing memorable moments that celebrate UAE's cultural essence throughout this period.
The second edition of #RamadanInDubai showcases authentic Emirati customs through partnerships with various sectors in Dubai. By uniting efforts across entities, it enhances collective experiences of Ramadan celebrations citywide.
