Dubai Land Department Encourages Emirati Citizens To Enrol In Real Estate Broker Programme For Enhanced Opportunities
Emirati citizens now have the opportunity to register for the 'Dubai Real Estate Broker Programme' through a dedicated link on the Dubai Land Department's (DLD) website. This initiative has seen a surge in interest since its launch, attracting many citizens eager to enter the real estate brokerage field. The programme serves as a strategic platform to boost national talent participation in this vital industry.
DLD encourages developers and brokers, especially those who missed earlier phases, to support the programme by submitting proposals and initiatives. This collaboration is crucial for building an integrated ecosystem that relies on strong public-private sector synergy. Such cooperation creates quality training and employment opportunities for national talent, ensuring the sustainability of Dubai's real estate sector.

The programme has exceeded expectations, with qualified Emirati brokers surpassing 180% of the annual target. It offers specialised training courses in partnership with accredited academic institutions. Participants receive an official real estate broker card valid for three years upon completing the required training, enabling them to practice legally within Dubai's regulatory framework.
Since its inception, these efforts have significantly enhanced broker performance, leading to real estate transactions exceeding AED 500 million by April 2025. Additionally, 231 new brokerage firms have been licensed under this initiative.
DLD has organised over 10 meetings with its 71 strategic partners from various real estate sectors. These include 26 development companies, 38 brokerage firms, and four training institutes. This initiative has helped build a network that enhances professional success opportunities for participants and supports Emiratisation in this crucial sector.
To further stimulate the business environment and support Emiratisation in real estate professions, DLD will introduce an incentive points system for brokerage firms employing Emiratis. These firms will gain additional points, improving their ranking within DLD's evaluation system and enhancing their market competitiveness.
Alignment with Dubai Social Agenda 2033
The Dubai Real Estate Broker Programme aligns with the Dubai Social Agenda 2033 objectives. It aims to empower Emirati citizens by offering specialised professional training and issuing the 'National Broker' licence. The programme also allocates a percentage of real estate projects to participants, boosting their employment prospects within active brokerage firms across Dubai.
DLD invites all interested citizens to register for the programme through a simplified process using UAE Pass. They can then request to join the training course via this online link: https://nbp.dubailand.gov.ae/
