Dubai Judicial Institute Releases 2024 Annual Report Showcasing Key Achievements In Judicial Training And Innovation

The Dubai Judicial Institute (DJI) has released its 2024 annual report, showcasing its dedication to enhancing the judicial workforce's capabilities. The report highlights significant achievements that demonstrate the Institute's crucial role in advancing legal competencies. These efforts align with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and guidance from H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aiming to improve judicial efficiency and implement global best practices.

In 2024, the DJI experienced a notable advancement in its comprehensive programme, achieving remarkable milestones while maintaining a commitment to quality and excellence. A key achievement was receiving institutional accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This recognition underscores the Institute's leadership in enhancing programme quality through innovative content and digital platforms serving the Arab judicial community.

Dubai Judicial Institute Highlights 2024 Achievements

The report highlighted the launch of the Dubai Judicial Training Platform, an integrated digital gateway for diverse training programmes. This platform allows trainees to manage self-learning content, maximising training benefits anytime and anywhere. The platform supported 131 training programmes, benefiting 7,337 individuals who completed 2,066 training hours. A total of 986 local and international entities from various sectors participated in these programmes.

Emphasising innovation, the DJI introduced the ‘Virtual Crime Scene in the Metaverse’ programme. This initiative represents a significant leap in practical training for Public Prosecution members in Dubai. It aims to enhance skills in conducting inspections and handling evidence at crime scenes within a safe virtual environment that simulates reality.

The DJI earned two ISO certifications: ISO 22301:2019 for Business Continuity Management Systems and ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management Systems. These certifications followed comprehensive audits validating its adoption of best practices in preparing national talent for judiciary roles while promoting scientific research and legal awareness within the community.

Additionally, the Arab Center for Legal and Judicial Research honoured DJI with the ‘Arab Judicial Training Excellence Shield’ Award for 2024. This award recognises DJI's innovative content delivery through smart digital platforms serving the Arab judicial community.

The Institute strengthened its institutional partnerships in 2024 by collaborating with leading judicial, legal, and academic entities locally and internationally.
