Dubai International Chamber Launches New Office In Kazakhstan To Enhance Trade And Investment Opportunities

Dubai International Chamber has inaugurated a new office in Almaty, Kazakhstan. This move aims to bolster economic connections and support business growth between Dubai and Kazakhstan. The chamber now operates 32 international offices, part of the 'Dubai Global' initiative. This initiative plans to establish 50 offices worldwide by 2030, attracting foreign investment and global talent to Dubai while helping local companies explore new markets.

The opening of this office highlights the growing economic relationship between Dubai and Kazakhstan. Last year, non-oil trade between these regions reached AED 14 billion, marking an 82% increase from the previous year. In the first nine months of this year, 187 Kazakhstani companies joined the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, raising the total number of active members from Kazakhstan to 668 by September's end.

Dubai Chamber Expands Presence in Kazakhstan

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, stated that expanding their global office network reinforces Dubai's status as a leading financial hub. "The chamber’s representative offices play a crucial role in attracting companies and investments to Dubai," he said. These offices enhance bilateral trade with promising markets and create partnership opportunities among business communities.

Facilitating Business Growth

The Almaty office will support Kazakhstan's business community by fostering relationships with public and private sector partners. It will attract investors from Kazakhstan and Central Asia to Dubai, promoting its competitive advantages. The office will provide investment information to help Kazakhstani companies enter the Dubai market and use it as a gateway for global expansion.

Additionally, the Almaty office will assist Dubai-based companies looking to expand into Kazakhstan by offering market insights and business introductions. It will connect local businesses with reliable stakeholders and potential partners in Kazakhstan to aid their expansion efforts.

This strategic move reflects the increasing momentum in economic relations between Dubai and Kazakhstan. By establishing more international offices, Dubai aims to strengthen its position as a global business hub while supporting local companies in exploring new opportunities worldwide.
