Dubai International Chamber Launches 36th Office In Bangkok To Strengthen Trade And Investment Ties With Thailand
Dubai International Chamber, part of Dubai Chambers, has opened its 36th office in Bangkok, Thailand. This new establishment aims to boost business and investment exchanges between Thailand and Dubai. The office will focus on enhancing ties with both public and private sectors in Thailand. It will offer market intelligence, matchmaking services, and strategic advice for businesses entering the market.
The opening of this office aligns with the Dubai Global initiative's goals. This initiative seeks to attract foreign companies, investors, and talent to Dubai by highlighting the emirate's competitive advantages. The new office is expected to strengthen bilateral engagement between the two regions.

During the 'Doing Business with Thailand' forum in Bangkok, the new office was officially inaugurated. This event was part of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce’s ‘New Horizons’ trade mission to Southeast Asia. Over 474 participants attended, including senior officials and business leaders from both regions interested in partnerships.
The trade mission included 20 companies from Dubai across various sectors such as food and beverages, human resources, trading, electronics, hospitality, industrial lubricants, investment, and agriculture. The chamber facilitated 288 bilateral meetings between these companies and Thai businesses.
Non-oil trade between Dubai and Thailand surpassed AED 23.8 billion in 2024. This marked a significant year-over-year growth of 23.3%. Additionally, Thai companies registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce increased by 28.4% in 2024, reaching 190 active members by year-end.
The chamber has identified several high-potential export products from Dubai to Thailand. These include livestock feed, fertiliser, flat-rolled iron/steel products, unwrought aluminium alloys, and cosmetics. For Dubai-based companies looking at Thailand for investments, promising sectors include rental services, renewable energy projects, freight distribution services, and medical tourism.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers stated: "The launch of our new office in Bangkok further strengthens Dubai’s global connectivity and reaffirms our commitment to supporting businesses in expanding their international footprints." He added that this step would create significant opportunities for businesses in both markets.
The chamber's efforts aim to cement Dubai’s status as a hub for global trade and investment while unlocking new opportunities for Thai companies wishing to enter the Dubai market. By leveraging the city's strategic advantages as a gateway to global growth, businesses can expand their reach effectively.
