Dubai Chamber Facilitates Kilimanjaro Energy’s Renewable Projects Expansion Into China
Dubai International Chamber, part of Dubai Chambers, has facilitated Kilimanjaro Energy's entry into China. This support led to a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Dubai-based renewable energy company and Skyworth Photovoltaic Technology, a Shenzhen firm specialising in solar energy solutions for homes and businesses.
The agreement was signed at Dubai Chambers' headquarters with representatives from Dubai International Chamber and Shenzhen's Guangming District government present. The two companies will work together on photovoltaic energy and energy storage for commercial and industrial projects worldwide. This MoU allows both parties to explore new cooperation models for energy projects.

Kilimanjaro Energy plans to establish a branch in China to offer specialised advice to Chinese firms, including those looking to expand into Dubai and the broader region. The representative office of Dubai International Chamber in Shenzhen played a crucial role in forming this successful partnership.
Kilimanjaro Energy is a key supporter of climate neutrality efforts, focusing on identifying and evaluating top-tier renewable energy projects across Africa and the Middle East. Their services include business and project advisory, structuring and facilitating energy commodity deals, project development, and fund mobilisation.
Skyworth Photovoltaic Technology brings technical expertise in new energy, digitalisation, and supply chain sectors. This collaboration aims to leverage these strengths for mutual benefit.
Positive Outcomes Anticipated
Salem Al Shamsi, Vice President of Global Markets at Dubai Chambers, remarked, "Kilimanjaro Energy's success in expanding into China and the MoU signed with Skyworth Photovoltaic Technology underline the importance of our efforts to support the growth of Dubai-based companies in promising global markets."
Ali Makki, Co-founder and Group CEO of Kilimanjaro Energy, added, "As we move forward, we are confident that this alliance will not only enhance our capabilities but also position the UAE as a leader in the global energy landscape. We look forward to the positive outcomes this partnership will bring and are excited about the future prospects it holds for all stakeholders involved."
Commitment to Green Energy
Wanfei Qu, Skyworth Group CMO and Skyworth Solar CEO, stated, "The most amazing thing we've seen is the determination shown and action taken of this country and their family businesses in the new energy transformation. We are grateful to have contributed to the development of green energy in the UAE and MENA region, especially working together with Dubai Chambers and KME."
This collaboration marks a significant step towards advancing renewable energy initiatives globally. Both companies are poised to benefit from shared expertise and resources as they embark on new projects together.
