UAE's Finest Boatmakers Shine At The 30th Dubai International Boat Show

As the Dubai International Boat Show celebrates its 30th anniversary, the event has once again underscored the UAE's burgeoning status in the global marine sector. Running until March 3 at Dubai Harbour, this prestigious gathering has drawn attention to the nation's rich maritime heritage and its innovative marine industry. With more than 1,000 brands participating, including 400 new companies, and over 200 crafts on display, the show is a testament to the UAE's growing influence in the luxury lifestyle and marine sectors.

In a special section dubbed "Proudly UAE", local brands are taking center stage, demonstrating the country's prowess in producing high-quality vessels and nautical products. Among them, Dubai-based Al Suwaidi Marine (ASM) has unveiled two new fishing boat vessels, a 36-foot craft and a smaller 31-foot sport craft. Mohammed Al Suwaidi, ASM’s Chairman, emphasized the importance of participating in the region's biggest boat show to gain visibility for their superior quality crafts made in the UAE.

UAE Boatmakers Star at Dubai Boat Show

The Dubai International Boat Show is not just about showcasing luxury yachts and boats; it also highlights excellence in maritime activities. The Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC), in collaboration with the Victory Team, has presented two racing boats that have captivated visitors. Additionally, the event features thrilling competitions such as the Dubai Fishing Competition for Kingfish and Cobia, alongside freestyle and HydroFly contests.

Dubai Police's Impressive Fleet

The Dubai Police force has also made a significant impression with its array of premium sea-based vessels. Known for its fleet of supercars, the police force is showcasing its maritime capabilities with an award-winning racing Jetski, a pioneering Jet Car capable of reaching speeds up to 80 km/h on water, and the official patrol boat.

Global Interest in UAE Boat Builders

Al Fajer Marine has reported considerable international interest in its vessels at the show, with inquiries from European buyers from Germany and Spain, as well as prospects from GCC countries. The company introduced the S-Class 90 and Sunrise 60 models at the event, boasting impressive speeds and luxurious designs.

Gulf Craft: A Legacy Partner

Gulf Craft, a legacy show partner with 15 vessels at this year’s event, highlighted the significance of the Dubai International Boat Show reaching its 30th anniversary. Abeer AlShaali, Deputy Managing Director of Gulf Craft, expressed a strong connection to the event and its impact on the marine industry. The show serves as an essential platform for stakeholders from around the world to discuss industry trends and showcase their latest innovations.
