Al Joker, in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, emphasized the paramount importance of passenger safety during this transition. He detailed the collective efforts of airport teams, strategic partners, and airlines to expedite the recovery process and offer support to those travellers who were impacted by the disruptions.

Al Joker shed light on the extensive coordination between the airport's response and emergency teams, numerous departments, strategic partners, and airlines. These combined efforts have been crucial in managing both the return to operational normalcy and the assistance provided to affected passengers and guests. He acknowledged the role of various private and government departments, as well as entities both within and external to the airport, in these restoration efforts.

Furthermore, the COO highlighted the ongoing communication with passengers, addressing immediate needs such as refreshments, flight rescheduling, or rebooking.
