The Inheritance Court in Dubai Courts has demonstrated remarkable efficiency in 2024, highlighting its crucial role in ensuring justice and safeguarding individual rights. The court achieved an impressive 84% amicable settlement rate for inheritance cases and guardianship assets, resolving disputes involving 1,353 properties. Additionally, the court issued 1,407 inheritance certificates, with 72.5% of initial rulings upheld on appeal.

In a bid to modernise its operations, the Inheritance Court has embraced digital systems to streamline legal procedures. The introduction of smart applications allows for online submission and tracking of requests, eliminating the need for physical court visits. The court's efforts have resulted in processing 38,367 smart applications efficiently. The total value of assets managed by the court, including guardianship assets, surpassed AED583 million. Amicable settlements in inheritance disputes and guardianship matters were valued at over AED10 billion. The total claims brought before the court exceeded AED35 billion.

Judge Mohammed Al Shamsi, Head of the Inheritance Court in Dubai Courts, stated that these achievements reflect the court's dedication to justice and judicial system development in the UAE.
