Dubai To Host Inaugural WHX Tech Health Event On 8th September With Global Leaders
WHX Tech, a new event by Informa Markets, will debut on 8th September at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This global digital health gathering aims to foster meaningful change through carefully crafted content. The event is developed with input from an elite Advisory Board of international digital health experts.
The inaugural edition will feature over 200 speakers across three stages: World X, Xcelerate, and Future X. These platforms will delve into innovative ideas with a focus on practical application and industry transformation. World X will be the main stage, concentrating on global case studies, regulatory insights, and future-ready solutions.

Dr. Sam Shah, Director of the Office of Healthcare Data Management at NEOM, is among the notable speakers. He will discuss his experiences with the UK's NHS and NEOM, emphasising the importance of global collaboration in digital health governance. "Generative AI is redefining how individuals engage with healthcare," he stated.
Reenita Das from Frost & Sullivan will highlight the transition from reactive care to predictive wellness through data. She remarked, "Data is healthcare’s new deity." She stressed that technology must align with frontline realities and that WHX Tech focuses on building inclusive systems through design and cooperation.
Dr. Myriam Fernandez of Amazon Web Services and Dr. James Mault of BioIntelliSense are also set to speak. They will join Dr. Tamara Sunbul and Dr. David Rhew in sharing insights on digital health transformation and innovation.

WHX Tech is designed with a practical approach, featuring live hospital simulations, start-up showcases, investor matchmaking, and a US$50,000 prize for the region's largest health start-up competition. Supported by HIMSS, it leverages Dubai's role as a global hub for health innovation.
Solenne Singer from Informa Markets described WHX Tech as more than just an event but a solutions-driven platform. "We’ve developed a content agenda grounded in the sector’s priorities—from governance and trust to adoption and equity," she explained.

The event anticipates participation from over 300 global brands and more than 5,000 attendees. This makes WHX Tech a significant meeting point for those involved in the digital health ecosystem.
Dr. Shah highlighted the need for consensus on standards and sustainable models in digital health governance at WHX Tech. He said this platform is crucial for driving these discussions forward.
