Dubai Holding And Palantir Launch Aither To Drive AI Transformation Across UAE Industries

Dubai Holding and Palantir Technologies have entered a strategic agreement to form a joint venture named Aither. This marks Palantir's first such venture in the UAE. The collaboration aims to expand AI capabilities across key commercial sectors in the UAE, building on 18 months of successful cooperation that has already transformed Dubai Holding's operations.

Since early 2024, Dubai Holding has utilised Palantir's AI and data integration platforms. This has improved efficiency, decision-making speed, and data visibility across its operations. The partnership has positively impacted sectors like real estate, hospitality, finance, and infrastructure, benefiting brands such as Nakheel, Meraas, and Jumeirah.

Aither: Driving AI Transformation in UAE

Aither will act as a national platform to boost AI adoption in Dubai’s priority industries. It will enable both government and private organisations to achieve large-scale transformation. By merging Dubai Holding's market knowledge with Palantir's software expertise, Aither aims to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness while unlocking new value sources.

The joint venture will support the UAE’s national digital ecosystem and contribute to the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. This agenda seeks to generate AED100 billion annually through digital transformation initiatives. Aither will provide local businesses with proven AI solutions, helping the nation establish global leadership in applied AI.

Aither also focuses on localising the economic benefits of Palantir's technologies by transferring knowledge and developing national talent. It aims to establish governance frameworks for guiding AI implementation across the local commercial landscape.

The venture operates with a mandate to serve strategic commercial sectors aligned with national digital transformation strategies and economic diversification goals. This alignment ensures that Aither supports both Dubai’s digital ambitions and the UAE’s broader economic objectives.

Leadership Perspectives

Amit Kaushal, Group CEO of Dubai Holding, stated: "Through Aither, we are extending proven AI capabilities to the wider market, supporting Dubai’s digital ambitions and the UAE’s goal to accelerate economic diversification and strengthen its global leadership in the digital economy." Alex Karp, CEO of Palantir Technologies, added: "We are proud to partner with Dubai Holding to empower institutions across the UAE with Palantir's world-leading AI capabilities."

The establishment of Aither signifies a significant step towards enhancing AI adoption in the UAE. By leveraging advanced technologies and local expertise, this partnership is set to drive substantial growth in various sectors while aligning with national economic goals.
