Dubai Health Authority Unveils Innovative Protocols To Enhance Customer Service In Healthcare Sector

Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, the Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), has introduced new standards and protocols. These are among the first in the region, aiming to improve the patient and customer experience in Dubai's healthcare sector. This announcement coincides with UAE Innovation Month, highlighting the country's commitment to innovation as a key factor in global competitiveness.

Al Ketbi stated that innovation is integral to both work and daily life in the UAE. The DHA is utilising all available resources and ideas to ensure sustainable healthcare and a promising future. He noted that UAE Innovation Month is an annual event that underscores the nation's strategic focus on innovation.

DHA Introduces New Customer Service Protocols

The DHA has outlined a comprehensive agenda for UAE Innovation Month, which continues until 26th February. This includes visits by senior officials to top innovation centres in Dubai to learn about best practices. Specialised discussion panels and a brainstorming session on "Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications" are also planned, involving DHA specialists and expert consultants.

The agenda also features training sessions on the "Afkar" platform. These sessions aim to equip users with skills to use the platform effectively, fostering innovative thinking and supporting creative solutions for service improvement. This initiative is part of DHA's efforts to enhance its services through innovation.

A lecture titled "Artificial Intelligence and Its Impact on Innovation" is another highlight of the programme. It is expected to draw 1,000 participants from various government entities. This lecture aims to provide insights into how artificial intelligence can drive innovation across different sectors.

The DHA's participation in UAE Innovation Month reflects its dedication to integrating innovative practices within its operations. By focusing on artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies, the authority seeks to improve healthcare services and outcomes for patients in Dubai.
