Dubai Government Human Resources Department Boosts Efficiency In Employment Ecosystem Through Workshop
The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) and Digital Dubai Authority recently held a workshop named 'Government Recruitment Process Development’. This event took place at the Dubai Public Prosecution’s headquarters. It aimed to enhance government employment efficiency. Representatives from 12 government bodies, including HR directors and recruitment specialists, attended to discuss improvements in recruitment processes.
The workshop's primary focus was on addressing current recruitment challenges. It explored ways to improve the hiring experience for both new graduates and seasoned professionals. Additionally, it sought to find methods to enhance coordination among government entities. This aligns with Dubai’s vision for digital transformation and future growth.

Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director-General of DGHR, stated, "This workshop serves as a testament to our dedication to reinforcing collaborations and fostering constructive communication with government entities, while aligning with Dubai Government’s future vision to enhance the government employment ecosystem." He emphasised the importance of innovation and AI in attracting talent.
The workshop highlighted the significance of the 'Dubai Careers’ platform. This platform is crucial for government employment in Dubai. It aims to unify efforts, provide access to national talents, and ensure transparency in recruitment. The integration of data analytics and AI was also discussed as a means to better match job market needs with applicants' skills.
Al Falasi further noted that the workshop is a key step towards improving the government employment experience. He mentioned that it aims to make this experience more appealing and aligned with global leadership principles. Encouraging knowledge exchange and prioritising partner feedback were also highlighted as essential components.
Held under the directives of the General Secretariat of the Executive Council of Dubai, this initiative reflects ongoing efforts to advance government employment systems. The goal is to strengthen operational efficiency as part of digital transformation requirements. This is seen as vital for achieving Dubai’s forward-looking vision.
