Dubai Future Foundation Partners With China's NICE To Enhance Innovation And Technology Adoption
Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China’s National Innovation Center par Excellence (NICE). This partnership is designed to boost technology adoption and innovation. The initiative seeks to strengthen Dubai's position in industrial innovation, attract investments, and increase private sector involvement in research and development.
The agreement aims to provide vital research infrastructure for future industrial clusters. This will create new growth opportunities in a knowledge-based, technology-driven economy. It positions Dubai as a leading centre for research, development, and innovation. The MoU was signed by Abdulaziz AlJaziri from DFF and Dr. Qing Liu from NICE during the SuperBridge Summit 2024 in Dubai.

Under this MoU, both parties will explore cooperation in knowledge transfer, talent empowerment, retaining competencies, and facilitating market access. Abdulaziz AlJaziri highlighted the importance of bilateral partnerships for supporting innovation and development within Dubai’s forward-looking strategy. "Our collaboration with NICE marks a significant step in shaping the future of innovation," he stated.
Strategic Collaboration for Global Impact
Dr. Qing Liu expressed satisfaction with strengthening the research model through this strategic collaboration. "We are pleased to strengthen the research and development-as-an-industry model in Dubai through our strategic collaboration with Dubai Future Foundation," he said. He noted that Dubai's openness, pro-business policies, and capital make it an ideal hub for innovation.
The partnership aims to unlock new growth streams by redefining possibilities in a rapidly evolving economy. By harnessing the potential of the research sector, it contributes to productivity growth and long-term economic transformation both regionally and globally.
