Dubai Future Forum 2025 To Host Over 2,500 Global Futurists On November 18-19

The Dubai Future Forum, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, will be held at the Museum of the Future from 18th to 19th November 2025. This event is recognised as the largest gathering of futurists globally. It will host over 2,500 participants from more than 100 countries, including government officials, global experts, academics, and innovators.

Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Managing Director of Dubai Future Foundation, stated that the forum has become a platform for futurists and decision-makers worldwide. He said it anticipates rapid transformations and emerging trends while strengthening future readiness and enhancing foresight across key sectors. "It strengthens future readiness, enhances foresight across key sectors, and amplifies positive impact for humanity," he added.

The agenda includes 200 speakers across 70 sessions focusing on five main themes: Exploring the Unknown, Empowering Societies, Reimagining Health, Optimising Systems, and Foresight Insights. Attendees will include representatives from 100 foresight organisations, international institutions, senior government officials, CEOs, investors, and leading academics in innovation-driven sectors.

In addition to the main sessions, over 20 specialised workshops will be conducted in collaboration with government entities and academic institutions. These workshops will cover a wide range of foresight-related domains. Seven activations will also immerse visitors in the latest technologies like AI, VR, and AR.

The forum will announce winners of the inaugural Dubai Foresight Awards. These awards were launched under directives from H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. They recognise exceptional achievements in foresight across three categories: Foresight Change Makers, Foresight for People, and Foresight for the Planet.

Al Gergawi highlighted that Dubai's vision is driven by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's leadership. He noted that Dubai has become a global hub where experts and innovators gather to shape a better future for humanity. "Dubai and the UAE have become a leading global destination that brings together experts...to shape a better future for humanity," he remarked.

Prototypes for Humanity

Alongside the forum, the 11th edition of Dubai Future Solutions – Prototypes for Humanity will take place at AREA 2071 in Emirates Towers from 17th to 20th November. This showcase features 100 breakthrough projects chosen from over 3,000 submissions by students and faculty representing 1,200 universities across 120 countries.

Five standout innovators will be selected during this event to receive support in scaling their ideas into tangible global impacts. This initiative aims to foster innovation by providing resources to promising projects with potential worldwide influence.

Learnings Day Sessions

This year introduces Learnings Day sessions on 17th and 20th November led by prominent government and academic institutions. These sessions will explore foresight applications across key sectors such as global security, strategic philanthropy, wearable technologies, cooling systems, and sustainable futures.

Al Gergawi noted that previous editions have catalysed global dialogue on future opportunities while generating insights that enhance quality of life and economic resilience. "Across its previous editions...generated insights that enhance quality of life," he said.
