Dubai Design District (d3) and Isola Design Group are set to unveil an exhibition focusing on the circular economy. This initiative, named "Design Next," will be part of Dubai Design Week's 10th-anniversary celebrations from 5-10 November 2024. The exhibition aims to explore sustainable design thinking and is the first collaboration between d3 and Isola Design Group.
The event will showcase a diverse range of ideas from independent designers, sustainable brands, and design tech start-ups. It seeks to inspire new approaches to sustainable design, promoting positive changes in lifestyle and consumption habits. Attendees can expect to see sustainable products, circular furniture, design technologies, and innovative materials.

In addition to the exhibits, the event will feature panel discussions and live performances. These activities aim to raise awareness about the circular economy and encourage visitors to contribute to a more sustainable world. The exhibition serves as a platform for dialogue and inspiration in this crucial area.
Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of d3, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with Isola Design Group. She stated, "This new exhibition...will elevate world-class design concepts...We hope the ideas presented will inspire a reset of mindsets...while advancing Dubai’s contribution to the global sustainability agenda."

"This collaboration with d3...aims to inspire the design community...to build a better and more conscious future," Cavallaro said. The exhibition underscores design's role in fostering innovation and pioneering project approaches.
The exhibition will focus on five main areas: Circular Design and Innovative Craft, Material Hub, Future of Urban Living, Design Labs, and The Stage. Each section will offer insights into how design can contribute to sustainability.
This initiative marks a significant step in promoting sustainable practices within the UAE's design industry. By bringing together diverse voices and ideas, "Design Next" aims to inspire change at both local and global levels.
