23rd Edition Of Dubai Derma Sets New Benchmarks In Dermatology And Laser Innovations

Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director-General of Dubai Health Authority (DHA), inaugurated the 23rd edition of the Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Conference and Exhibition (Dubai Derma 2024), marking the beginning of its annual three-day event at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Recognized as the most significant scientific dermatology gathering in the Middle East, North Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent region, this event brings together leading dermatology specialists, industry pioneers, and key decision-makers from around the globe.

During his visit, Al Ketbi explored the exhibition halls alongside Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Executive Chairman of Dubai Derma; Dr. Abdullah Ibrahim Al Khayat, CEO of Al Jalila Children's Speciality Hospital; Dr. Ibrahim Galadari, Professor of Dermatology and Chairman of the Dubai Derma Conference; Dr. Abdul Wahab Al Fouzan, President of the Arab Academy of Dermatology and Aesthetics and President of the Kuwaiti Society of Dermatologists; among other distinguished figures in dermatology and aesthetics.

Dubai Derma 2024: Dermatology Excellence

Dr. AlMadani highlighted the conference's role in showcasing cutting-edge technologies and solutions in dermatology, emphasizing this year's record-breaking participation and potential for numerous business deals. He pointed out that Dubai Derma plays a crucial role in supporting Dubai's economic agenda by meeting the growing demand for dermatology and cosmetic medicine, thereby reinforcing Dubai's status as a premier health tourism destination.

The 2024 edition of Dubai Derma has seen an increase in exhibitors, visitors, participants, doctors, and international companies specializing in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and medical equipment. This underscores its importance as a key platform for industry leaders and renowned brands, further establishing Dubai as a central hub for medical conferences.

Dr. Galadari remarked on the exceptional participation and turnout for this year's event, noting the introduction of new products across various segments by several companies. He emphasized that the conference serves as a strategic platform for the dermatology and beauty sectors to discuss scientific advancements and explore business opportunities.

With over 1500 international brands represented by more than 400 global enterprises, the conference will feature more than 334 lectures and 51 practical sessions, including 13 direct clinical sessions. Approximately 301 international speakers will share their expertise on topics such as medical, therapeutic, paediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Clinical case presentations aimed at enhancing understanding of new procedures and diagnostic approaches are among the event's highlights.

Dubai Derma is organized annually by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions, a member of INDEX Holding, in cooperation with the Pan Arab League of Dermatology and the Arab Academy of Dermatology Aesthetics (AADA). The event also receives support from the Emirates Dermatology Society, the Indian Society of Teledermatology, the Pakistan Association of Dermatologists, the Face Aesthetic Dermatologist Society (FADS), the Sri Lanka College of Dermatologists, and the Georgian Association of Photodermatology and Skin Cancer.
