Dubai Culture Hosts High-Level Delegation From Seychelles To Enhance Cultural Ties And Collaboration
A delegation from Seychelles visited Dubai Culture and Arts Authority at the Dubai Design District. This visit aligns with the UAE-Seychelles strategic partnership and supports the Government Experience Exchange Programme. The programme aims to highlight UAE government efforts globally, establishing the nation as a governance and development hub by sharing best practices with over 41 countries.
The Seychelles delegation included Marie-Celine Zialor, Minister of Youth, Sports, and Family, and Devika Vidot, Minister of Investment, Entrepreneurship, and Industry. They were accompanied by representatives from youth councils, ministries, and sector experts. Their discussions with Dubai Culture leaders focused on enhancing cultural ties and developing collaborative exchange programmes.

During their visit, the delegation explored ways to exchange expertise and knowledge with Dubai Culture. The aim was to strengthen cultural connections between the two regions. Discussions also covered potential collaborative cultural exchange programmes that could benefit both sides.
The Dubai Culture team presented their achievements and role in managing over 14 strategic projects across Dubai. These initiatives have positioned Dubai prominently in global cultural indices like the Foreign Direct Investment Index in Cultural and Creative Industries. This underscores Dubai's status as a global culture centre and creativity incubator.
The delegation learned about Dubai Culture’s best practices in community development, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment. Initiatives aimed at expanding youth participation in projects were highlighted. These efforts are designed to inspire young people to contribute actively to Dubai’s vibrant cultural scene.
