Dubai Culture And MBRSC Join Forces To Enhance Educational And Cultural Initiatives In Dubai

The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC). This agreement aims to improve communication and share best practices between the two organisations, aligning with Dubai's vision for the future. The signing took place at the Etihad Museum, attended by key figures from both entities.

Hala Badri, Director-General of Dubai Culture, and Salem Humaid AlMarri, Director-General of MBRSC, signed the MoU. Present were Muna Faisal Al Gurg, CEO of the Culture & Heritage Sector at Dubai Culture; Dr. Saeed Mubarak bin Kharbash, CEO of the Arts & Literature Sector at Dubai Culture; Hazzaa AlMansoori, the first Emirati astronaut; and other officials.

Collaboration Between Dubai Culture and MBRSC

This partnership underscores a mutual commitment to exchanging knowledge and supporting initiatives in creative, cultural, scientific, technological, and engineering fields. It seeks to engage stakeholders from various art and cultural sectors to foster collaboration among local institutions and talents.

The MoU details plans for joint events, exhibitions, and talks. These activities will allow Dubai Culture to strengthen ties with creatives and stakeholders from both public and private sectors. Additionally, it will support MBRSC’s programmes while aligning with Dubai Culture’s strategic goals.

Hala Badri highlighted that the UAE has quickly become a leader in space exploration due to visionary leadership. She expressed pride in partnering with MBRSC: "Our partnership with MBRSC marks an important step in enriching the local creative scene... aimed at enhancing the expertise of talent in science and culture."

This collaboration aims to integrate space exploration into various art forms. It hopes to inspire innovation among creatives by promoting integration between national institutions and strengthening cultural industries.
