Dubai CommerCity Partners With EBay To Elevate Global E-Commerce Opportunities

Dubai CommerCity, a pioneering free zone dedicated to digital commerce, has partnered with eBay to enhance business growth. This collaboration aims to boost sales and expand the reach of companies within Dubai CommerCity through eBay's online marketplaces. The agreement was formalised at a ceremony attended by Abdulrahman Shaheen from Dubai CommerCity and Ashish Chhabra from eBay.

Abdulrahman Shaheen, Executive Vice President of Operations at Dubai CommerCity, highlighted the benefits of this partnership. He stated, "Our collaboration with eBay will significantly enhance the digital presence of companies within Dubai CommerCity, unlocking new growth and investment opportunities. By expanding their reach to over 190 global markets, this cooperation aligns with our mission to facilitate business operations across various sectors and drive the growth of companies in the region."

Shaheen also expressed confidence in the initiative’s potential to improve services and benefits for local and international companies. These include advanced infrastructure, smart logistical facilities, and cutting-edge technology tailored to meet diverse business needs.

Ashish Chhabra, Vice President and General Manager of Global Verticals at eBay, emphasised the importance of enabling UAE retailers to sell globally.
